My Weekly Stream Schedule

New Year's Day (January 1): A fresh start for everyone! I usually take this day to plan out the year's content and relax after the holiday season.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Day (Third Monday in January): A day of observance and reflection across the U.S. I typically take this day off to honor its significance.

Presidents' Day (Third Monday in February): Another federal holiday often observed, providing a mid-winter break.

Memorial Day (Last Monday in May): Honoring those who served. A long weekend for many, including me, to spend with loved ones and recharge.

Juneteenth National Independence Day (June 19): A significant day of freedom and celebration. I'll often take this day to observe and reflect.

Independence Day (July 4): Celebrating freedom! Expect a break around this time for fireworks, festivities, and some well-deserved time off.

Labor Day (First Monday in September): A well-deserved break for hard work. I'll be off enjoying the long weekend before the fall season kicks into gear.

Columbus Day (Second Monday in October): Another federal observance that might see me taking a day off.

Veterans Day (November 11): A day to honor our veterans. I take this time to reflect and show appreciation.

Thanksgiving Day (Fourth Thursday in November): Family, food, and gratitude! This is a definite break for me to enjoy with family and friends.

Christmas Day (December 25): The biggest holiday break of the year. I'll be off celebrating with family and friends, usually extending into the surrounding days.

As I'm working towards my big move to Florida, I also pay attention to key state observances that might influence my schedule. While not all state holidays result in a stream break, I'll always give you a heads-up if they do.

Florida Emancipation Day (May 20): This is a significant day in Florida's history, commemorating the end of slavery in the state. I may take this day to observe.

Birthday of Robert E. Lee (January 19): While not always widely observed with time off, it's a recognized historical day in Florida.

Susan B. Anthony's Birthday (February 15): Another historical observance in Florida.

Shrove Tuesday / Mardi Gras (Varies): While not a state holiday, given Florida's cultural ties, I might occasionally adjust the schedule around this festive period.

Pascua Florida Day (April 2): Commemorating the discovery of Florida. A day of historical significance.

Confederate Memorial Day (April 26): A historical observance in the state.

Jefferson Davis' Birthday (June 3): Another historical observance that might be noted.

General Election Day (First Tuesday after first Monday in November): If it falls on a streaming day, I might take time off to exercise my civic duty.
